Dontcha just love Guitar Shows ???...we should
all form our own political party ... there is no discrimination at guitar
shows based on race, creed, color, style, sex, age, religion, type of music,
appearance, education or political affiliation and everybody is welcome
whether they are famous or not.
At the last guitar show that I went to you could
feel the excitement all over the minute you walked through the door.
There were guys in boots, jeans & cowboy hats,
a guy in a three piece suit with a fedora and spats, lots of tennis shoes
and shorts, "T"-shirts, Hawaiian shirts, dress shirts...long hair,
short hair, blue & green spiked hair, no hair...women in everything
from bib-overalls and Doc Martins to high-heels & nylons ...
The oldest person to come up to my booth had to
be 80 something ... the youngest (aside from the real little ones being
dragged through the show by their parents) was probably 12 or 13.
They all have one thing in common... an acute case
of GUITAR-I-TIS ... there is no cure whether you are a lifer or just caught
it yesterday, the only thing that seems to help is to be around places like
guitar shows, with a lot of other people who also have the same affliction
